What do we do on this boat cruise?

Have you ever wondered how it is to see dolphins in their natural habitat having fun? We have a great boat tour so you can enjoy this once in a lifetime experience!

The Puerto Pollença Dolphin and Sunrise trip includes:

• Sightseeing: our captain will take you on the breathtaking route of the northern coast of Mallorca.
• Dolphin watching: we give you a unique chance to see these amazing animals in their natural habitat.
• Breakfast: enjoy your most important meal of the day accompanied by dolphins and a beautiful sunrise.

Set sail by boat from the Port of Pollença at sunrise to see magnificent colors of the sky and sea as the day slowly breaks. Watch as the ball of fire literally emerges over the sea on the horizon and lights up Pollença Bay with a stunning glow.

We will sail out of Pollença Bay into the high seas where the dolphins can normally be found.

We maintain our distance from the dolphins so as not to disturb them, and you may see them from a distance or, as is often the case, they may come close to the boat to show off their acrobatic skills to the audience on board.

• 3-hour boat trip

• Dolphin watching

If, in the case of bad weather, the tour is cancelled, you will be offered the option of a change of day or a full refund.

Please note:

• It is not possible to swim with the dolphins in Mallorca.
• There is a 99% possibility you will see dolphins in the wild. In case you don't see dolphins, you will be given a free ticket to come back anytime this year or next year.
• For the sunrise tour, bring a warm jacket or sweatshirt, even in summer. Bring a towel to sit on in case the seats on the boat are damp from the morning condensation.

Can you swim with dolphins in Mallorca?

Please be aware that swimming with dolphins in Mallorca, and indeed in Spain, is not permitted by law. The European Union is making moves to ban keeping dolphins in captivity and human interaction with them.

On this boat tour, we maintain the recommended distance from the dolphins so as not to disturb them in their natural habitat. It is therefore strictly forbidden for clients to get in the water and swim with the dolphins on this excursion.

Departure point

The starting point of the excursion is from Puerto de Pollença. We offer transportation from the hotel or a nearby point only for clients staying in Cala San Vicenç, Pollença and Puerto Pollença. ( price 5€ per person- Contact by mail at info@lanchaslagaviota.com to book the transfer after the booking) If you are staying in another tourist resort, you must make your own way to Puerto de Pollença. We recommend you take a taxi.
